Marjone Oceña – Development Lead
Marjone is an experienced web developer with more than a decade of industry experience, including 6+ years of Full Stack Development. As a self-driven and highly skilled programmer, he has developed full-stack applications across various platforms using the latest industry-adopted technologies and frameworks.
With his excellent communication skills, Marjone ensures a complete understanding of the project objectives and seeks to minimize risks throughout the development process. He attended Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology where he started his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. Unfortunately, due to financial issues after the loss of his father, he decided to pause his studies and work full-time instead to provide for his family.
At the age of 20, Marjone became the breadwinner and started working as a freelance programmer with different startup companies. In 2019, with everyone in the family doing well, he went back to finish his degree and after two years, he graduated from Saint Michael’s College.
Now a father of two girls, Marjone resides with his wife in the Philippines. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and loves being at the beach, especially during weekends. He also likes to watch movies, documentaries, and series like Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad during his break hours.
